SHIPPING QUESTIONS

Where are you shipping to?

We're offering shipping to almost every country in the world. Should your address not be accepted by the system, please get in touch with us and we will find a solution!

I tried entering my address at checkout got an error message that my order cannot be shipped to my address, what should I do?

We received a few messages that this happened to customer, please let us know immediately. This might have to do with shipping tables that were outdated for some countries. Please get in touch with us via email to hello @ printsforwildlife.org and send us your address and we will find a solution!

How much is shipping?

We are very happy to be able to offer flat shipping rates globally. Wherever you are based, we will ship to you for only 10 dollars. It also doesn't matter if you order framed or unframed prints.

How long will shipping take?

Shipments are processed on a daily basis and delivered with different carriers depending on your location. Orders are shipped from our labs in Europe (UK and Germany) and guaranteed to leave the lab within a maximum of 3-5 business days. Due to the current raise in flight cancellations order delays may appear. Please bear with us, we're doing the best we can so you receive your print in a timely manner, but we also depend on carriers, which we cannot control directly.

Average shipping times:

  • UK: 1-3 working days
  • Germany: 2-5 working days
  • Other EU countries: 5-7 working days
  • US & Canada: Currently experiencing delays, average of 20 working days
  • Australia: Currently experiencing delays, average of 20 working days

Will I get a shipping notification?

Unfortunately we cannot send automated shipping notifications, as our shop system is not directly connected to our print lab. If you need a tracking link please reach out via e-mail to hello (at) printsforwildlife.org and our team of volunteers will localise your tracking link and send it to you manually. Please bear in mind that we are a volunteer-led organisation, so please allow some time for us to get back to you!

Shipping to the US?

Unfortunately, last year we have experienced increased delays in shipping our orders to the US. We are sorry if you are experiencing any delays at your end and are asking your for your patience. Also we are receiving reports, that some customers in the US might have to pay a custom clearance fee upon receipt of their print. Please be aware, that we are doing the best to ship in a way that no customs will be charged, but cannot directly affect the customs process from our end and custom fees might occur.

Shipping to Switzerland or other non-EU countries?

We are receiving reports, that customers in Switzerland and other non-EU countries might have to pay a custom clearance fee upon receipt of their print. Please be aware, that we are doing the best to ship in a way that no customs will be charged, but cannot directly affect the customs process from our end and custom fees might occur.

Shipping to UK?

This year we are shipping orders to the UK directly from our print lab in London, so no customs will occur.

Shipping to South Africa?

We're offering shipping to South Africa, but had a few issues with the reliability of postal services. If your order should be damaged or lost, please get in touch and we will reship it by using other courier services.

I received my shipment, but it's broken / bent / damaged.

Please send us an email with your 4-digit / 5-digit order number (#00000), name and address and add photos of the damaged print and/or packaging to hello (at) printsforwildlife.org. We will reprint and send you a new print as fast as possible.

I have not received my print yet.

You have 12 weeks after the purchase to inquire about prints, that were lost in transit. Lost prints will of course be replaced free of charge and resent to your address. If you inquire later then within 12 weeks after the purchase we won't be able to access the shipping status anymore and therefore cannot offer replacements.

Please be aware that the shipments might take up to 20 working days to be delivered. If this period has passed and your delivery hasn't arrived yet, please send us an e-mail to hello (at) printsforwildlife.org and we will find out the current status of your shipment and get back to you!

OTHER QUESTIONS

What percentage of sales is donated?

100% of proceeds after printing and handling will go directly to African Parks. Each image has been donated by photographers around the world, and often offered at a significantly lower price than usual.

My preferred image is sold out, what will happen?

Since we are selling limited-edition runs of 100 pieces per image, the sold out images won't come back in a second run. Therefore, sold out = sold out. However, we keep on adding new images to the store continuously. 

Currency

All currency is in US dollars. Orders are tax exempt due to the legal tax exemption status of African Parks in the US.

Taxes & Duties

All prices and shipping rates in this shop exclude taxes and duties. Additional taxes and duties may be charged in countries such as Switzerland and some non-European countries. 

Can I order a smaller/bigger/different print?

We are only selling the 30x45cm versions of prints (with some exceptions of images that are not in 2:3 ratio). If you want to purchase other sizes please contact the photographers directly (but note that this purchase is not going to be part of the fundraiser). 

Can I cancel my order / get a refund?

We cannot offer any cancellations or refunds as each purchase of prints is produced and made to order.

Can I change my order or combine two orders?

Unfortunately we cannot manually change orders and therefore are not able to ship multiple orders together or adapt past orders. Please understand that we are a team of volunteers working on your orders so any change would mean additional manual work which we cannot handle given our limited resources.

I am a photographer and want to donate a photo to be printed.

Just like last year we also hosted an open call in the summer of 2022 to open up the fundraiser to new photographers & emerging talents and with the goal to further diversity and inclusivity in the wildlife photography space. The open call has been closed for this year - therefore we are currently not open to new photographers.

If you are interested in participating in any upcoming new editions, please send through your 3 best photos (as attachment in web resolution) and your website and Instagram username to be considered in any upcoming print sales.

Please know we are being deluged with requests and it might take a while to respond. Please be patient if you haven't heard back from us - due to the volume of requests apologies in advance if we aren’t able to respond.

I am a brand/company looking to lend support.

We are currently not adding any commercial sponsors to the project. If you have an idea for a collaboration anyhow, please drop us an e-mail to hello (at) printsforwildlife.org. Thank you! 

Can I donate directly to the charities to order a print?

Your orders here on Shopify are directly linked to African Parks, there are no intermediates - so your donation will go directly to the non-profit organisation.
