Baby lemon sharks, called pups, spend the first chapter of their lives in the protection provided by mangrove trees. These tiny sharks (less than two feet long and skinny) are cute, clumsy, and, at least to me, hilarious. I have spent hundreds of hours getting to know them in their own environment and have seen first hand that they are individuals with their own personalities. It is my love for them that motivated me to learn photography, so I owe them my career.
