The first time I went to Solio, I had the opportunity to photograph Mfalme, this very unique rhino, in conditions that every photographer dreams of.
His name means “king” in Swahili, and that's exactly what he is.
He is also a symbol of the fantastic work being done in this reserve to conserve rhinos, both black and white.
I'll never forget his majestic silhouette and this moment of connection.
