I took this image whilst researching whale sharks in the Maldives. This shark is named Huduveli (White Sands), and I took this image as he came to the surface to sunbathe in the shallow waters of the reef. It was the most magical encounter, as he then started feeding, and I spent over 2 hours in the water with him.
